Water in the beach is very clean all through the year. Three chiringuitos and the Camp site Cabopino complete the gastronomy and entertainment and accommodation of the area.

Torremolinos: Many are the attractive for the visitors at Torremolinos, but one of the most important ones is the gastronomy and the famous “pescaito frito” (fish). Local parties, full of happiness and andalusian personality, within the most important ones are Romería de San Miguel, San Juan or the honorees to LA Virgen del Carmen mistress of the fisherman.
Benalmádena: In the 70’s Benalmádena bécame a place of touristic interest, even though its Marine, the biggest in La Costa del Sol and winner of many awards “To the best marina of the world”. More than 1000 of docks with a beautiful arquitecture and lots of entertainment places make Benalmádena a place for tourists.
Fuengirola: one of the places to find cultural signs of the different civilizations in south Spain (Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs). In the surroundings of the Arab Castle it has been foun a village from de Iberos that had its origin in the Romans. Fuengirola offers all the attractive of a touristic area: hotels and resorts, restaurants, bars, pubs and discos, sports areas… The beaches aroung Fuengirola are very well know between the citizens because of their popular chiringuitos.

Calahonda: small touristic and residential area between Fuengirola and Marbella. It is the shopping area closest to Camping Cabopino, 1 km driving distance.

Within its worm climate, its white sand beaches, its Golf courts, it marines and its competitive offer for entertainment, Marbella involves a whole artistic and historic Patrimony. As a cosmopolite and touristic city, you will find in Marbella all types of crafts as well as any culinary product national or imported.
Puerto Banús: for sure the most charismatic place of La Costa del Sol. A place to see and be seeing, to show up around between all the favolus and luxurious yachts while having a drink or eating in the restaurants and outdoor bars. A perfect landscape with the mountain and the see. Nightlife in Puerto Banús is international, many basrs and discos, piano clubs.. and during the day a perfect place to go shopping around the most fashionable shops and luxurious names. The beach next to Puerto Banus has been award with the “European blue flag” for its security and cleanness.
Ojen: at 200m over the sea level, between the mountain lines of Alpujata y Blanca, with a high mineral richness. Habitat of many protected species where it must be highlighted the Montesa Goat and the Imperial Eagle. An area for trecking and people that admire nature  and its incredible views to Marbella.
Istán: a musulman origin villaje that owes its survival to the long distance between the coast and the place. Within the area of Blanca Mountains in the head of Rio Verde and very close to Ronda Mountainline. The streets in the village are narrow and straighten, therefore the best way to visit around is walking. The sparkling of water sounds day and night through the fountains of drinkable water. Water from the fountains in Istan is pure from the mountains without any chemical treatments.

The Sun Coast - "The Golf Coast"

Green courses with 9, 18 or 27 holes
There are more than 70 golf-courses all over Andalusia . Thanks to the mild winters this sport can be practised along the coast all year round. The majority of the courses are located there. All handicaps can be found and some of the best European golf resorts are situated in the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz. Especially the Valderrama Golf Club of San Roque became famous after being host of the Ryder Cup competition in 1997 and of the World Championship in 1999.

White Villages

The classic mountain route.
One of the most beautiful itineraries through Andalusia !
Far away from the big cities this travel route permits visits to small and medium sized villages in the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz with a special emphasis on landscape and nature attractions.
Description
Route passing the mountainous regions of the Sierra de Grazalema , Serrania de Ronda and Los Alcornocales . An excursion takes the traveller to the Natural Site El Torcal near Antequera .The white villages owe their name to the way their residents often scatter lime on the walls of their houses. These seem to be inserted like bird nests into the mountains and are usually adorned by a castle. Red tile roofs and narrow streets complete the appearance of a typical "pueblo blanco"..
Itinerary
From Arcos to Ronda and Castellar de la Frontera.
Distance
approx. 300 kilometers/185 miles

Best travel season
Spring/Early Summer (March until June) and Autumn (September until November); possible even during the Winter (February). .

Landscape an protected areas

The most of the described white villages are situated in the western part of the Bética ranges. The highest elevation is the Pico de Pinar (1654 meters) close to the village of Grazalema , the number one rainy region of all Spain . On the other hand, the Serranía de Ronda, just a few miles east of Grazalema, has a dry climate. Cork and holm oaks and the very rare Spanish fir ("Pinsapo") grow in the forest. In the west, close to Arco de la Frontera, predominates farm land.
Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park
With 51.695 hectares one of the bigger natural parks of Andalusia with a rich flora and fauna. 13 villages lie on the territory. (Information centre El Bosque)
Los Alcornocales Natural Park
Territory of 170.025 hectares with 15 villages. Belong to the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz. As seen in its name, the main growing tree is the cork oaks

WHITE VILLAGES WHERE TO STOP

ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA

On serpentine roads the visitor climbs the mountain range high above the Guadalete river where the most important of the White Villages is situated. 28,000 inhabitants live there and the village is surrounded by large reservoirs, where you can go fishing/angling, bathing and surfing.
RONDA, Cradle of the bullfight.

The extension of agricultural production and the rising importance of tourism are now the basis of the town's economic development. The most of its 34,000 inhabitants live in the new part of the city, "El Mercadillo", which is divided by an old stone bridge over an impressive river gorge from the old medieval part, called

To Visit:

La Ciudad (Old part) – the main attractions of Ronda are here, including the houses of old nobility.
