If you have arrived at Malaga Airport and have rented a car, how to get to Marbella is very simple, just leave the airport and follow the signs for the A-7, the old N-340 road, towards Cádiz – Algeciras, until find the exit to Marbella.
You will first leave Torremolinos on your left, then Benalmádena and just before reaching Fuengirola you can choose between the AP-7 toll motorway or continue on the A-7. We recommend continuing along the A-7 as it runs for a good stretch along the coast, and on the other side the Sierra de Mijas looks out, so the landscape is very beautiful. In addition, the time savings between one and the other is not much.
When arriving from Cádiz, you will also have to take the N-340 or AP-7 as a reference, this time in the direction of Malaga.
The Pablo Ruiz Picasso airport in Malaga is the most important on the entire Costa del Sol and Andalusia, receives numerous national and international flights.
The airport is located just 40 km from Camping Cabopino.
If you prefer, there is also a bus service, you just have to leave terminal 3 of the airport and go to the bus stop in front. There is only one, you can’t go wrong.
Here every so often a bus from the Portillo company passes that will take you to the Marbella station in less than an hour, check the schedules here. From the bus station you must take another bus to the campsite.
The train is a possible option, since the Renfe Cercanías line reaches Fuengirola. You can take it from the María Zambrano station in Malaga or from the airport itself.
Once there you have to take a bus that stops at Camping Cabopino, 10 km before reaching Marbella.
